Mill "De Lelie" will receive 25 primary school classes this school season as part of the school project.... Students are introduced to a historical monument and how a mill works. Showing a working device is better than a theoretical explanation. At the Titulaer millstone factory in Malden they make quinces, a hand mill that has existed for centuries.

The quern consists of two parts, a lying stone and a rotating stone. An existing pattern is drawn on both stones, after which the pattern is milled in with a grinding wheel and a pneumatic hammer.
